CLIFFORD R. RODRIGUEZ Post 809 Honor Guard/Color Guard team was jointly established in 1951 and has remained as a Post Honor Guard team for over 70s years. Our team conducts over 200-300 Honor and Color Guard services a year throughout the entire county of Santa Clara. Donations are optional and greatly appreciated, for we do not get paid for our travels, training, or preparation of our uniforms as we do this voluntarily with a belief in our hearts that every Service Member and Veteran regardless of rank or if they deployed or not. Deserves a full military honors and not the half effort one our UNITED STATES Government provides. An actual Military Honors consist of the Firing of the volleys, playing of taps, and the presentation of the flag to the next of kin. As that is what we pledge to provide to all our fallen throughout the county of Santa Clara.
